A special tourist visa system has been created in which Cuban citizens can travel to the Dominican Republic and thus be able to join their relatives who live outside of Cuba. In order to access this program, you must Buy a Tourism Package that includes the air ticket and the stay in a hotel in the Dominican Republic.
The visa process is personal and there is no intermediary company in your request. When purchasing your tourism package, all your personal data will be requested, both of those who travel from Cuba and of their relatives residing in the USA, who will officiate as responsible for their relative. Between the purchase of the package, the processing of the visa and the issuance of the same in the passport, it takes approximately 20 days.

The flights operate every Saturday from Santo Domingo, Capital of the Dominican Republic and arrive and depart from Havana, Cuba.
The visa that is granted is for a SINGLE ENTRY. The packages we offer are 7 hotel nights and if you need to stay longer, these stays are subject to approval. In case you want to go to the Dominican Republic again, you must do the entire process again.
The visa has a consular fee of $130 (US dollars), payable in bills to the Dominican Consulate in Havana. There is no manager authorized to collect said fee. Visas ARE NOT GUARANTEED, meaning that the Government of the Dominican Republic may or may not approve each applicant's visa. In case of not approving the visa for whatever reason, the consular fee charged by the Dominican Consulate is NON-Refundable.
